Am I Living My Fullest Life…

Am I Living My Fullest Life…

One thing I always come back to is this- why am I not doing everything I can do in order to live my life to the fullest? Our lives should have vibrancy, purpose, passion and joy in every single day. Even on the hardest and worst days that we face- there is always the opportunity to recognize the joy and beauty in our lives. Let’s not lose sight of this friends; and may we always continue to follow and pursue the dreams which God has given us the talent to accomplish. We should recognize and use these gifts to bring glory to Him every day, rather than gain attention for ourselves. Let us be a light in this dark world. Show love where there is hate and intolerance. Bring peace to harried and aggravated situations. And moreover; let us pray without ceasing, which is what we are called to do.

Trust me, this encouragement is as much to myself as it is to you today. Let’s be the counteracting factor to the chaos that can spin around us. Lift people up, don’t compete with them. Love them unconditionally, don’t compare yourself to them. Savor and pursue the relationships in your life.

So stop reading, close your computer and go do something to add some light to the world. Give yourself credit for what you do well, recognize hat, and practice it in order to lift someone else up. Always remember- you have value and have things to add to this world.

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” -Matthew 5:13-16
